Our client embarked on a global journey and sought to test our ability to build an audience from scratch in a new geographical market, specifically Seoul. We had previously collaborated with this client in the Russian market, achieving outstanding results.

Strategy

  • Research and audience building: сonducted market research to understand the demographics and interests of potential customers in Seoul. Identified target audience segments interested in contemporary dance - the best audience was the people who attend night parties and enjoy ambient music.
  • Sales funnel creation: for potential clients, trying something like a master class helps them determine 
if the teaching methods meet their requirements. That's why we suggested starting with an open level master class instead of regular classes, as the latter might not attract enough participants initially. 
By organizing the master class, we explored market demand and built a base for a lookalike audience.
  • Meta Ads Campaign: launched a targeted Meta Ads campaign with compelling visuals and messaging designed to attract dance enthusiasts in Seoul.
  • Optimization: continuously monitored and optimized the campaign to ensure maximum reach and engagement, adjusting bids and targeting parameters based on performance data.

Results

  • Achieved full class attendance with 20 people, resulting in bookings for future classes at a rate of 25 EUR per person.
  • Calculated Return on Marketing Investment (ROMI) of 96%.
  • Established a solid foundation for a lookalike audience in the new market, laying
